1. As you searched for resources specific to “classroom management” respond to the following:
a. Analyze the types of resources that emerged from your search. What were some of the common themes that emerged? (e.g., Did the resources tend to focus on physical layout? Responding to misbehaviours?)

Resources focus more on building and supporting a safe, inclusive, learning focused classroom environment where diversity is seen as a strength

These actions include: 1. Developing an organized physical layout ol the classroom. 2. Developing clear rules and routines. 3. Establishing caring relationships with and among students. 4. Planning and implementing engaging instruction. 5. Addressing discipline issues. first four is the preventing behaviour problems from occurring

Very similar to Garrett's classroom model focusing on prevention, building a positive learning environment to prevent behaviour problems

use continuum of strategies when dealing with inappropriate behaviours
